City of Fulton Softball results for Monday, July 14

6:00 F (M-G) Spear pierced Rosie’s Tavern, 14-6.  Rosie’s Tavern tallied five runs in the first inning while Spear tied the game in the second, scored five times in the third before adding a pair of runs in both the fourth and sixth innings.  Jason Wolaven lined two doubles, a single, scored three times and drove in a run for Spear, Scott Briglin singled twice, scored three runs and knocked home two RBIs while Stew Carpenter rapped four singles, scored twice and delivered two RBIs.  Karl LaGray stroked a pair of RBI singles, walked and scored once for Rosie’s Tavern, Shawn Demars singled twice and scored twice as Joe Jameson scored following a RBI single.

7:00 F (M-G) Save-A-Lot doubled up Wyant Contracting, 8-4.  Save-A-Lot rallied for four runs in the first and three more in the fourth while holding Wyant Contracting to single runs in both the second and fourth innings and a pair of runs in the seventh.  Craig Sterling Jr. smacked three singles and scored twice for Save-A-Lot, Joel Ingison singled twice, scored once and drove in two RBIs while Gary Bartlett scored after belting a RBI double and singled.  Josh Mills singled, scored twice and amassed three RBIs for Wyant Contracting, Kurtis Mills doubled, singled and scored twice as Jessie Jones tripled, singled and scored a run.

6:00 D (M-G) Save-A-Lot II rallied past Uniforms, Etc. 6-5.  Uniforms, Etc. took a four-run lead with a five-run rally in the third before the offense stalled and Save-A-Lot II took the game with a run in the fourth, two runs in the sixth and two runs in the seventh.  Aaron Fritton belted a solo home run and a two-run double for Save-A-Lot II, Barry Alton slugged a solo home run and scored following a double as Dan Crowe singled home the winning run.  Tony Zaia smashed a three-run inside-the-park home run for Uniforms, Etc., Ed Mason Jr. tripled, singled and scored once while Bob Kingsley reached base twice, scored once and drove in a run.

7:00 D (M-H) Dead End Boyz did in Heritage Homes, 14-2.  Heritage Homes hung tough, trailing 1-0 after three innings before Dead End Boyz began hitting, scoring five times in the fourth, adding four runs in the fifth and another four in the sixth.  Adam Young belted a two-run home run, singled, walked and scored twice for Dead End Boyz, Tony Dellomorte doubled, singled home two runs and scored twice while Karl Loosen smacked a two-run triple, a single and scored once.  Mickey Grenell singled twice, scored once and drove in a run for Heritage Homes, Larry Peterson reached base twice and knocked home a RBI as Joe Houghtaling and Ben Gallant each singled twice.

8:00 D (M-H) Yablonski’s Softball hushed Huhtamaki, 17-5.  Huhtamaki scored a five run lead after batting in the top of the second before being shutdown offensively while Yablonski’s Softball tallied three runs in each of the next three innings and eight in the fifth.  Henry Borick tripled twice, walked, scored three times and delivered two RBIs for Yablonski’s Softball, Aaron Rowan singled twice, scored twice and knocked home three runs while Tim Cloonan reached base three times, scored twice and drove in a run.  Greg Marshall drilled a two-run doubled and singled for Huhtamaki, Shawn Flood singled, scored and drove in a run as Mike Seguin and Mike Blascienski each singled and drove in a RBI.

9:00 D (M-H) Tractor Supply flattened J&B Ballers, 17-14.  Tractor Supply rallied for seven runs in the first only to have J&B Ballers tie the game in the second.  With the scored tied at nine, Tractor Supply tallied five runs in the fifth and added three in the sixth before holding J&B Ballers short of retying the game once again in the late innings.  Ken Sheldon tripled, doubled, singled, walked, scored three times and delivered five RBIs for Tractor Supply, Eric Dempsey tripled, doubled, singled twice, scored three runs and drove in two RBIs as Chuck Burlingham lined four hits, scored three runs and knocked home a run.  John Allen blasted five hits to deliver four RBIs and scored three times for J&B Ballers, Mike Niver lined a two-run home run and scored twice as Matt Wright tripled home two runs and scored three times.
