City of Fulton Softball results for Monday, July 21

6:00 F (M-H) Uniform’s, Etc. bared Huhtamaki, 21-6.  Uniform’s, Etc. had a comfortable 10-0 lead after three innings when Huhtamaki erupted for six runs in the fourth before Uniform’s, Etc. regrouped to tally eleven runs in the fifth.  Matt Lenway belted a pair of two-run inside-the-park home runs, two doubles, a single, scored four runs and amassed five RBIs for Uniform’s, Etc., Ed Mason Jr. lined a triple, three singles, scored five runs and delivered four RBIs while Bob Kingsley rapped five hits, scored once and drove in three runs.  Greg Marshall stroked three singles, scored once and knocked home two runs for Huhtamaki, Billy Hutchins smacked three singles, scored once and delivered a RBI as Frank Williams singled twice, scored once and drove a run home.

7:00 F (M-H) Dead End Boyz survived Yablonski’s Softball, 9-8.  Dead End Boyz erected a five-run lead after six innings before Yablonski’s Softball rallied in the seventh to pull within a run with the potential tying run caught in a rundown and tagged out heading back to third base.  Toot Bonnie belted a two-run double, a RBI single, walked and scored twice for Dead End Boyz, Tony Dellomorte singled three times, scored once and drove in a run as Thad Fleming singled twice, scored twice and knocked in a RBI.  Tim Cloonan slugged a pair of two-run triples and scored once for Yablonski’s Softball, Aaron Rowan singled three times and scored twice while Tom Hetzer singled twice, scored twice and drove in a run.

6:00 D (M-H) Save-A-Lot II slammed the door on Heritage Homes, 12-8.  Save-A-Lot II scored nine runs in the first two innings while holding Heritage Homes to three but only added three in the final five innings while Heritage Homes scored five within the final three innings.  Luke Alton slapped two doubles, singled, scored once and drove in four RBIs for Save-A-Lot II, Will Derby slapped three singles and knocked in three RBIs as Mark Alton singled twice, scored and amassed three RBIs.  Brendon Peterson lined three singles, scored a run and drove in two RBIs for Heritage Homes, Larry Peterson rapped three singles and drove in a run while Joe Houghtaling singled twice, scored twice and knocked in a RBI.

7:00 D (M-G) Spear shocked Tractor Supply, 13-12.  Spear held a two-run lead after two innings before Tractor Supply took the lead in the third and padded it with three runs in the fifth.  But Spear rallied in the bottom of the seventh to tally four runs and steal away the victory.  Dave Craig blasted a three-run home run, tripled, doubled, singled (hit for the cycle) and scored three times for Spear, Scott Briglin lined a solo home run, singled twice, scored and drove in another RBI while Frank Reis doubled, singled twice scored once and knocked in a RBI.  Orlo Green launched a three-run home run, tripled, doubled, scored a run and amassed seven RBIs for Tractor Supply, Christian Dempsey sliced three singles, scored three runs and totaled two RBIs while Eric Dempsey doubled, singled twice and scored twice.

8:00 D (M-G) Save-A-Lot shut down Rosie’s Tavern, 20-8.  Save-A-Lot built a six-run lead after three innings before Rosie’s Tavern rallied for seven runs in the fourth to take the lead.  Save-A-Lot responded with ten runs in the next inning to score the game’s final fourteen runs for the win.  Craig Sterling tripled, doubled, singled, scored twice and delivered five RBIs for Save-A-Lot, Wray Ingison stroked five hits, scored three runs and drove in one while Gary Bartlett smacked a pair of RBI doubles, a single and scored three times.  Shawn Demars reached base three times, scored once and knocked home two runs for Rosie’s Tavern, Al Painter singled twice, scored once and drove in a run while Jack Crego singled twice and scored once.

9:00D (M-G) J&B Ballers fought off Wyant Contracting for a 17-15 win.  The teams stayed close in the early innings until J&B Ballers scored five times in the fourth to take a seven-run advantage.  But in the fifth, Wyant Contracting knotted the game with a seven-run rally while J&B Ballers tallied two in the sixth and three in the seventh while Wyant Contracting couldn’t match those five runs.  John Allen crushed a three-run home run, a pair of RBI singles and scored twice for J&B Ballers, Matt Wright ripped a inside-the-park home run, singled twice, scored three runs and amassed two RBIs as Justin Stevens slugged a three-run home run, a single and scored twice.  Josh Mills doubled, singled twice, scored twice and amassed four RBIs for Wyant Contracting, Dennis Green lined two doubles, singled, scored twice and knocked in three RBIs while Kurtis Mills slugged a two-run home run, a triple, singled and scored twice.
