10:00 D (M-I) A&M Softball held off Whoosah Lounge’s/Chaser’s comeback attempt, 12-11. A&M Softball took the lead with Whoosah lounge/Chaser’s knotting the game in the fourth before taking the lead in the fifth while a six-run rally in the bottom of the sixth allowed A&M Softball to retake the lead for good despite a seventh inning rally by Whoosah Lounge/Chaser’s to pull withing one with runners on second and third with one out before being stopped short. Vinny Alfano tripled, singled twice, scored twice and drove in three RBIs for A&M Softball, Bill Orr reached base three times, scored three times and drove in a run as Andy Ward slapped two singles scoring twice. Craig Wacker slapped three singles, scored twice and drove in two RBIs for Whoosah Lounge/Chaser’s, John Turner reached base four times and drove in two RBIs as Adam Berry lined two singles, scored a run and drove in two RBIs.
11:00 D (M-I) Issue’s arrested Barely Legal Accessories, 12-8. Issues scored four runs in the second, two in the third and three in the fourth before Barely Legal Accessories responded with two runs in the fourth and fifth and four in the sixth, but not enough to catch up with Issues who added to their lead in the fifth and seventh. Jeff Koegel beat out a solo home run, singled, scored and drove in another RBI for Issues, Adam Schremph lined a solo home run, tripled in a run and scored as Joe Paice doubled, singled in two runs and scored. Ryan Ahart crushed a two-run blast and a two-run inside-the-park home run for Barely Legal Accessories, AJ Macomber reached base three times, scored twice and drove in a run as Rippy Alvarado Jr. lined three singles and scored a run.
