City of Fulton Softball results for Tuesday, July 22

6:00 F (M-F) Polish Home covered Consumer Credit Counseling of CNY/Abbott Enterprises, 14-3.  Polish Home opened the game with a pair of five run innings and finished with a four run rally while holding Consumer Credit Counseling of CNY/Abbott Enterprises to two runs in the second an a run in the fifth.  CJ Smith slugged a three-run inside-the-park home run, a double, two singles and scored thrice for Polish Home, Josh Osborne lined a double, a two-run single, a base hit and scored a run while Joe White gapped a two-run inside-the-park home run, walked and scored three runs.  Scott Bristol reached base twice, scored once and drove in a run for Consumer Credit Counseling of CNY/Abbott Enterprises, Nate Smith lined three singles and knocked in a RBI while Derrick Backus and Keith Hurlbut each singled twice.

7:00 F (M-F) Flemming & Lobeveror Insurance knocked over Lakeview Lanes, 8-5.  Flemming & Lobevero Insurance tallied five runs in the top of the first as Lakeview Lanes responded with four runs before the bats fell silent until Flemming & Lobevero Insurance added two runs in the fourth while each team added a run in the fifth.  Mitch Tombs lined three singles and scored twice for Flemming & Lobevero Insurance, Jordan Hoyt stroked a pair of RBI singles and scored once as Pat Burd tripled, singled home a run and scored a run.  John McGuire smacked a RBI double, two singles and scored twice for Lakeview Lanes, Josh Archibequi rapped a pair of RBI singles and scored once while Jeff Grower doubled home a RBI, singled and scored a run.

6:00 D (M-F) Riverside Inn-Haney Enterprises out rallied Bellinger Auto, 12-8.  Bellinger Auto scored a run in the first inning before a five-run in the third gave Riverside Inn-Haney Enterprises the advantage when Bellinger Auto rallied for six runs in the fourth for the lead before Riverside Inn-Haney Enterprises ralled for another five runs in the fifth for the win.  Dave Holden lined three singles, scored once and drove in two runs for Riverside Inn-Haney Enterprises, Tim Carroll singled twice, scored once and delivered two RBIs as Denny Colocino singled twice, walked twice, scored twice and drove in a run.  Greg Distin belted a two-run triple, singled twice and scored twice for Bellinger Auto, Greg Hartranft stroked three RBI hits as Geo Bateman singled three times and scored twice.

7:00 D (M-E) Muskie’s Brothers blanked Tavern on the Lock, 10-0.  Muskie’s Brothers tallied a pair of runs in the first, added three in the third and rallied for five runs in the sixth while only allowing two base runners to reach third base for Tavern on the Lock.  Jeff Hendrickson blasted a two-run home run, a pair of singles, scored twice and garnished three RBIs for Muskie’s Brothers, Daryl Baker doubled, singled and scored thrice as Matt Farfaglia doubled, singled a run home, walked and scored once.  Hal Duell doubled and singled twice for Tavern on the Lock while Steve Crandall, Tim Southworth, Brian Frear and Mark Pitcher each singled.

8:00 D (M-E) Caster Well Drilling sank RFH’s Farm Team, 11-4.  Caster Well Drilling took an early lead and maintained the lead/enlarged it whenever RFH’s Farm Team would score.  Darrin Caster doubled, singled, walked, scored twice and drove home three RBIs for Caster Well Drilling, Alan Caster socked a RBI triple, two singles and scored twice while Luke Caster doubled a run home, singled and scored twice.  Bruce Ingersoll smacked a two-run inside-the-park home run and scored following a single for RFH’s Farm Team, Billy Ingersoll singled twice and delivered two RBIs as Henry Miller tripled and scored.

9:00 D (M-E) RFH’s Blues Boys served up Muskie’s/Kick-n-Chicken, 15-3.  RFH’s Blues Boys tallied five runs in the each of the first two innings to score in all but one inning while the defense allowed two runs in the fourth and one in the fifth.  Tim Tetro jacked a three-run home run, a base hit, walked, scored twice and amassed four RBIs for RFH’s Blues Boys, Nick Dio singled twice, scored twice and drove in a pair of runs while Chad Merritt reached base three times, scored twice and delivered a RBI.  Tim Kirwin smashed a RBI double, singled twice and scored a run for Muskie’s/Kick-n-Chicken, Jim Ashby reached base twice, scored once and drove in a run while Bill Ruggio singled twice and scored a run.
