Come Enjoy the On-Track Excitement at Fulton Speedway on Fireman / Policeman Night

This Saturday night July 12th racing returns to the High Banks of the Fulton Speedway with a full night of racing action. Saturday night will also be Fireman/ Policeman night. Any Firefighter or Law enforcement showing ID will receive half off the General Admission Price.

Along with a regular race night of DIRTcar Modifieds, DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds, UMP Street Stocks, E&V Energy Rookie Crate Sportsman Modifieds, Four Cylinder Enduros the ESDCA Mod Lites will also be in action.

Defending Modified Track Champion Jimmy Phelps will look to grab his second victory of the year after winning a hotly contested feature last Saturday over Dale Planck. Phelps has seemed to find the right combination as the season is heading down the home stretch in points paying events.

Tom Sears Jr.who has been “Mr Consistency” in 2008 will be trying to add to his point lead as he holds a slim seven marker lead over Alan Johnson. Jimmy Phelps, Ryan Phelps and Jim Witko are still in the hunt.

Like Sears in the Modifieds, Jeremy Pitcher’s consistent runs has him the top point man in the Sportsman Modifieds. Pitcher in his new Troyer Car will be looking to grab his first win of the season. Jordan Bennett, Tom Juhl, Tim Sears Jr.and last weeks feature winner John Pietrowicz trail Pitcher in the points.

“Mr Street Stock” Dave Mannise will try to put win number seven in the books in the UMP Street Stocks. No win comes easy in this class as anyone in the field can grab the checkers.

In the E&V Energy Rookie Sportsman Modifieds John Wilbur has a single point lead over Katelyn Kane in the season long battle for the title, with Claude Hutchings Jr.only eleven behind Wilbur. Even with it being the month of July the cars signing in the pits continues to grow for this class.

Gates open this Saturday at 5:00 with racing starting at 7:00. Admission prices are Adults 15 and over-$12, Children 10 to 14-$5 and Children 9 and under Free.  Pit Admission prices- DIRT Members- $20, Non Members-$25.
