OSWEGO, NY – Double D Motorsports, which will field a two car Pathfinder Bank SBS team in 2013, has signed on Menter’s Ambulance Service as a new sponsor for the coming season.
Menter’s Ambulance Service, originally of Fulton, NY, recently opened in Oswego and longtime race fans Zach and Jim Menter are excited to be on board with Double D Motorsports lead driver and team owner, Dalton Doyle.
Doyle, who drove his No. 01 Hedger chassis to 11th in the final SBS standings at Oswego Speedway in 2012, will also introduce a team car in 2013 with former DIRT Sportsman driver Josh Blackwell at the controls. The machine will be an identical Hedger chassis to that of Doyle’s No. 01 and will sport the No. 10.
Blackwell will join nine other SBS pilots as rookie contenders for the upcoming Oswego Speedway Pathfinder Bank SBS season, as they drive in search of the Butler Disposal Rookie of the Year title.
Doyle came to Oswego Speedway as a rookie in the 2011 season after graduating from competition at the fast growing Oswego Kartway, which runs behind the Speedway on Friday nights. In two short years behind the wheel, Doyle quickly adapted to the style of racing at the Speedway with a career best finish of second this past season behind Rob Pullen on Best Western Plus/Quality Inn and Suites Night at the Races.
Doyle, a student of Motorsports Technology at Alfred State College, is also a respected fabricator for Supermodified car builders Hawk Jr. Performance.
