Varsity Football

Oswego 35, Mexico 18

Damian Williams scored on a 78 yard TD run, a 52 yard pass from Mike Brown, and a 10 yard run. as Oswego did something it hasn’t done in a long time — put two wins together.  Adam Johnson scored the Bucs other two TDs on runs of 31 and 6 yards.

Cortland 21, Fulton 6

Cortland smothered a Raider offense that could not get going and gave up two interceptions.

Lowville 14, Hannibal 13

Hannibal scored first and last, but a failed two point conversion attempt after Derek Shoults’s fourth quarter TD run was the margin of defeat for the 2-1 Warriors.

Varsity Boys Soccer

Fulton 3, Fowler 2

Kyle Brayton, Trevor Bellinger and Ryan Kesterke all scored for Fulton, which had to come back from a 1-0 deficit at halftime to take the game.  Trevor Trovato stopped 6 shots for the 5-1-1 Raiders.

Varsity Girls Soccer

Jordan-Elbridge 2, Hannibal 1

The Lady Warriors held a 1-0 halftime lead in this non-league game thanks to Jami Keding’s goal.  Amanda Gage made 9 stops for the 0-3 team, which is not playing in a league this year.

Varsity Girls Volleyball

Oswego 3, Utica Proctor 1

Katie Flanagan’s 35 assists and Vanessa Sheffield’s 18 kills pushed the Lady Bucs to a fairly easy victory, 25-15, 25-22, 25-13.  Oswego’s 5-1.

Varsity Girls Swimming

C-NS 98, Oswego 81

C-NS won the first ten events to put the meet out of reach early. Michaela Auer took the 100 breaststroke for Oswego and the Bucs won the closing freestyle relay.  Oswego is 2-3.

Cortland 98, Fulton 81

Sara Nelson set a Fulton record with a 2:20.78 in the 200 yard individual medley.  She also won the 100 yard backstroke.  Devon Niccoli also took a pair of first places, in the 50 yard freestyle and the 100 yard breaststroke.  Fulton also won two of the day’s three relay events.

Varsity Boys Golf

Corcoran 206, Fulton 229

Matt Liberti carded a 40, good for a tie for second place on the day.  Nick Ravesi finished third with a 42. missing or outdated ad config
