Fulton Force Baseball Preparing For Challenging 2016 Schedule

FULTON, NY – The Fulton Force elite traveling baseball team is preparing for its third season after finishing last year with four tournament championships and a 19-3 record. Bringing its two-year total to a 35-9 record with five tournament titles, three second place finishes and two third place.

After a second straight season of being one of the strongest teams in the Northeast, the Force strengthened its schedule for 2016.

The Force will participate in three of the largest college and professional showcase tournaments starting July 6 when it will travel to the University of Louisville to play in a 96-team 16U National Championship.

That will be followed by a 16U World Series at the University of Virginia Tech starting a week later on July 22 and capped off by a Team Showcase at the University of Maryland starting August 4.

“We are very excited for the challenge of this coming season. The players can’t wait to compete with the best teams from around the country,” said Randy Cotton, the team’s manager.

Besides the three showcase events the Force will start its season with the NY Gold Prospect tournament on June 24 and play in a local tournament in Baldwinsville, July 28 through 31.

The first fundraiser of the season will be a chicken BBQ on March 12 at Muskie’s Bar and Grill.

Chicken dinners are on sale now or can be purchased the day of; cost of the dinner is $10.

There will also be a large 50/50 drawing, tickets are on sale now and at the event to increase pot size.

The Force will also host the third annual corn hole tournament, chicken BBQ and silent auction on June 4 at Muskies Bar and Grill.
This event gets bigger every year. More information on how you can participate will be available in April.

This is a very fun event for all and it is a great opportunity to help our talented local baseball players go out and compete against the best from around the country.
