Hannibal standout runner Ben Griffin added one more honor to his excellent season Saturday at the state cross country meet at Vernon-Verona-Sherrill High School.
Griffin took 8th place honors in the Class C 5,000 meter race.
He posted a time of 17:50.4.
The race ends Griffin’s season, which saw him place second in a race in an international meet in Australia earlier in the year.
Fulton’s Kyle Loftus finished 70th in the Class B meet, posting a time of 18:40.2.
Mexico’s James Gowans finished 8th in the same race, at 17:26.5.
And Sandy Creek’s Cody Donahue finished 30th in the Class D race, running the course in 19:08.4
