Coach Ted Beers said, “Our girls played a great game. We came out a little flat footed in the first set, just edging Auburn 25-23, but the second set saw Sarah Stoebner and Rebecca Martin take control.” Martin had nine kills and Stoebner served 22 straight serves as the Bucs won 25-3.
in the Buc Booster Jayvee Volleyball Tournament 10 schools were in action as Baldwinsville defeated Liverpool in the Gold division and CNS captured the Silver division title over Central Square.
Rebecca Martin earned a spot on the all tournament team representing Oswego while other members of the squad included Lindsey Silfer (CNS), Emily Walser (Baldwinsville), Liz Lacomb (West Genny), Shannon Darin (FM), Monique Sears (Auburn), Nydaisha Brown (Corcoran), Rachel Ruggaber (Liverpool), Andaya Hudson (Nottingham) and Caitlyn Hicock (Central Square.)
