The Oswego Girls Volleyball team traveled to Corcoran and rolled over the Cougars 25-8, 25-9, and 25-14. Oswego is 3-1 in league play and 3-3 overall.
Capitalizing on their strong performance this past week-end in Baldwinsville the team played solid defense and passed and attacked strongly. Leading the Lady Bucs were Vanessa Sheffield (11 kills, 2 aces), Jessica Benjamin (8 kills, 8 digs), and Katie Flanagan (21 assists). Cari Reed (3 kills, 3 assists, 1 ace), Morgan Lavner (3 kills, 3 aces, 8 digs), Krisi Stemple (6 assists), and Lauren Hunt (2 kills, 3 aces) also helped the strong attack. Also getting on the stat sheet were Mary Montagnola (10 digs), Kelsey Ross (1 kill, 5 digs), Katelyn Stevens (1 kill), Jasmine Davis ( 1 kill, 2 aces), Lauren Corradino ( 1 kill).
Oswego next plays Thursday at Central Square and returns home Friday at OHS versus Utica Proctor.
