Boys Varsity Soccer

CBA 3, Fulton 2

A heartbreaker.  Fulton broke a 1-1 tie in the second half and held the lead until the Brothers scored twice in the final three minutes of the game.  Several Fulton shots bounced off the crossbar.  Trevor Bellinger and Mark Henning scored for the Raiders.  Trevor Trovato had to make just three saves for 7-3-1 Fulton.  Fulton’s JVs beat CBA, avenging an earlier loss, 2-0.

Varsity Girls Tennis

Cortland 6, Fulton 1

The second doubles unit of Kali Kearns and Lindsay Navagh posted Fulton’s only win on the day, 6-3, 4-6, 6-2.  The third doubles unit, Liz Guernsey and Brooke Castillo, gave Cortland’s 11-1 duo of Lisa Martin and Danielle Payne a tough match, falling 7-5, 6-3. Fulton is 3-6.

Varsity Boys Golf

Fulton 219, Chittenango 220

Matt Liberti’s 37 was tied for the day’s best, and Nick Ravesi’s 39 for third place and Dan DeVaul’s 40 for fourth place provided the margin in this ultra-close match at Battle Island.
