Natoli, Pritchard Earn Fall Frenzy 200 Front Row Positions with Qualifying Night Victories

OSWEGO, NY – Chris Natoli and Ricky Pritchard can breathe a little easier heading into the Fall Frenzy 200 Championships on September 20, as their qualifying night wins last Friday in Stock Heavy and Clone Heavy have locked them onto the front row for their respective 100-lap mains coming up in two weeks.

Natoli, the runner-up in the Kartway’s Stock Light season championship and the Oswego Kartway Classic Stock Heavy champion, out raced DJ Shuman, Tom Perrin, and Jason Farrell for the Stock Heavy win on Friday.

Driving the MBR Speed Shop No. 33, Natoli also took second in Stock Light on Friday behind the No. 21 of Rob Eastman.

Pritchard, the Clone Light and BSP Clone track champion at the Kartway, bested a field of 11 Clone Heavy competitors on Friday to take victory.  Dick Dann, Nick Demling, Shuman, and Ross Spilman trailed Pritchard across the line in his MDR Motorsports No. 26.

With their victories, Natoli and Pritchard are now guaranteed front row starters for the Fall Frenzy 200 on September 20.

The Stock Heavy 100 and Clone Heavy 100 mains will pay a guaranteed $500 to win, plus other contingencies and lap monies.

Two more front row starters will be locked on with Natoli and Pritchard this Friday night in round two of the Fall Frenzy 200 qualifiers.

Other Fall Frenzy qualifying night winners included Teddy Clayton (Jr. Green Clone), Logan Abbott (Sr. Green Clone), Alex Losurdo (Jr. Blue Clone), Carl Emmons III (Jr. Purple Clone), Tyler Thompson (Sr. Blue Clone), Paul Fountaine (Stock 425), Nate Schultzkie (Clone Light), Rusty Natoli (Clone 425), and John Stepien (Open).

The Kartway returns to action on September 12 with the second round of RJ Kart Sales Fall Frenzy qualifiers.

Entry fees for Kartway members will be set at $15 while non-member entry fees are $18, with pit passes included.  Pit passes will also be available for spectators for just $10.

Friday night’s racing program will see heat lineups determined by pill draw, with features starting straight up from heat finishes.

As always spectators are welcome to come to the Kartway and enjoy the racing action with a full concession stand available.  Spectator admission is just $5 per car load.

Kartway events run May through September on most Friday nights, culminating with the Fall Frenzy 200 Championships on September 20.
