There has long been a desire to recognize outstanding participants and contributors to Oswego High School athletics and it appears that dream is about to become a reality.
For more than 152 years, Oswego Athletics has been an integral part of the Oswego City School District.
Through the tremendous support of the Buccaneer Boosters, Director of Physical Education and Athletics Scott Sugar is proud to announce formation of and the inaugural class for the Oswego Athletic Hall of Fame which will be inducted on Monday, December 29, 2008.
The concept of an Oswego Athletic Hall of Fame is finally becoming a reality and hopefully the first class will provide for a very memorable event.
Sugar said, “There a large number of individuals who have laid the ground work and impacted the overall history of Oswego Athletics, this is a excellent way for us to recognize those individuals through this Hall of Fame.”
