At Oswego Country Club on Monday, the Oswego boys’ varsity golf team won in convincing fashion over Auburn by a final score of 218-228.

It was a chilly September evening, but the Buc golfers stayed red-hot, winning their third match in a row and pushing their overall record to 5-3.

Alex Bush captured team medalist honors, carding a 41 on the front nine at Oswego which is a par 35. Bush’s round of 6 bogies and 3 pars was steady on a day when the greens were lightening fast. John Gorman, Matt Lloyd, and Corey Schuffenecker all came in with solid 9-hole scores of 43. Scott Quenville rounded out the top five with a total of 48.

After an inconsistent start to the season, the Bucs seem to have settled down. They seek their next victory on the road on Wednesday when they travel to Woodcrest Golf Club to battle F-M. missing or outdated ad config
