A solid fourth place finish was the result of hard work and a solid effort by the Oswego High boys’ cross country team at the Auburn Invitational.
Brandon Auyer was seventh and Shane Demo eleventh to lead the Bucs. Pat Shafer finished thirty-third, Mitch Galvin thirty-eighth and Colin Morgan forty-third while Aaron Baxter was close behind just one spot back of Morgan.
Ken Krapf ran to a seventy-third place finish in the varsity race.
In JV competition Zach McQuaid led the way with an eleventh place.
Austin DeMott was twenty-seventh and rounding out the scoring were Tres Bell forty-fifth, Steve Livoti forty-ninth and Jared Syrell fifty-first while Billy Crist had a great race dropping nearly six minutes off his previous best time.
