Oswego, NY – The Oswego Clearview Squirt Hockey team battled through a 2-0 loss this past weekend against visiting Midstate, according to Oswego Head Coach Eric Koproski.
Oswego (2-2) surrendered two goals in the final two periods, after matching the Midstate team early in the contest.
“The team played incredible despite the loss,” said Koproski. “We had some solid chances but just couldn’t get it in the net.”
“The team played hard on both ends of the ice, and our goalie Tyler Wallace was exceptional.”
Wallace made 30 of 32 saves on the day.
Koproski praised the overall efforts of Nick Burnett, Andrew Noyes, Alex Koproski, Jack Stephens, Spencer Stepien, Jeremy Susino, Patrick Galvin, Lane Phillips, Bryson Bush, Isaiah Raby, Mason Bricker, and Wallace.
“We continue to grow as a team, and while we may win some and lose some, the effort is there,” Koproski said.
The Oswego Clearview Squirts coaching staff includes: Head Coach Eric Koproski and Assistants Rob Raby, Dennis Brady, Jason Livesey, and Owen Kelly.
