Oswego Girls’ Lacrosse Tops Syracuse

Last night, April 11, we made the trip out to Syracuse on the Nottingham sports complex turf for a well-fought win.

We started the game off quickly and got on the board a few times in the first several minutes and had a 4-2 lead at the half.

Although not a comfortable lead going into the half with such an aggressive defensive group in host Syracuse we slowed our pace down in the second half and spread our offense out and it created a lot of good looks for us going to the goal and it paid off in the end for us.

Our goal was to bounce back and maintain better ball possession than we did on Monday against Fulton.

Tonight we did what we set out to do at the begining and slow ourselves down and be patient with the ball and we had really good looks going to goal.

We know we will have some tough games next week as we head to ESM on Tuesday and league-leading JD on Thursday.

We need to keep improving our ball possession and off speed actions to stay with the teams we see.
