OSWEGO, NY – The final event of the 2013 racing season at Oswego Kartway will take place Friday at the ‘Bull Ring’ starting at 7:30 p.m.
The Kartway finale will feature double heat races for competitors along with main events in all 11 kart divisions that competed during the regular season.
A rain date of October 25 will be utilized should weather play a factor in this Friday’s racing.
Oswego Kartway’s 2013 season was a rousing success, setting entry records across the entire schedule.
A total of 182 drivers scored points through the regular season, with a record setting total of 105 entries at the seventh annual Oswego Kartway Classic held during Budweiser International Classic Weekend at Oswego Speedway.
Work is already under way on a preliminary 2014 Kartway schedule which will be unveiled at the Kartway’s annual championship banquet held at Lighthouse Lanes in Oswego on November 16.
Pit gates will open at 4:30 p.m. Friday with hot laps beginning at 6:30 p.m. and the first heat race at 7:30 p.m.
