Thirty-five swimmers from the Oswego Laker Swim Club competed on October 24th in Mexico and earned second place in the Small Team category. Breann Burns and Drake Becksted set new meet records. Drake received the high point trophy in the 13/14 age group category.
For the 8 and under group, Lisa Kanbur took first in the 100 IM (1:41:92 best), fourth in 25 free (18:42), sixth in 50 free (40:73 best) and second in 25 fly (21:57). Madison LeRoy took nineteenth in 25 free (23:82) and eleventh in 25 back (25:32). Ben Stevens took fourteenth in the 25 free (36:99). Katie Volkomer took seventh in 100 IM (2:10:81), fifteenth in 25 free (21:95), sixteenth in 50 free (50:48) and ninth in 25 fly (27:84). Chloe Wall took twentieth in 25 free (24:34) and twenty-fourth in 25 back (31:62).
For the 9-10 age group, Kayla Becksted took fifty-sixth in 50 free (56:85) and twentieth in 50 breast (56:25 best). Raphah Carroll took thirty-two in 50 free (49:45). Alex Laubscher took nineteenth in 50 free (39:92 best) and twentieth in 100 free (1:39:99). Sydnie LeRoy took fiftieth in 50 free (49:98) and thirty-fourth in 50 back (58:56). Libby Rookey took sixtieth in 50 free (58:70), forty-two in 50 back (1:08:64) and twenty-seventh in 100 free (2:08:51). Corey Stevens took twenty-ninth in 50 free (47:45) and twenty-first in 50 back (1:02:59).
