OSWEGO — The Oswego Minor Hockey Association is accepting online registrations for its Learn to Skate and Learn to Play programs, sponsored by Burritt Motors at Cullinan and Crisafulli Rinks in Oswego, according to an October 30 release from the association.
Learn to Skate is designed for beginners who are new to the ice and want to build basic skating skills and confidence. Learn to Play is for second- and third-year skaters who are ready to continue developing their skating abilities while learning the fundamentals of hockey.
The program offers 18 weeks and 36 on-ice sessions for $95.
Participants will work on balance, movement, skating fundamentals and overall comfort on the ice. Learn to Play skaters will progress into more hockey-specific skills and instruction.
Families can register online by clicking the registration tab at oswegohockey.com and learn more about the programs through the association’s website.
