Oswego State Ice Hockey Season Tickets Available To General Public Starting August 6

Season tickets for the 2008-09 Oswego State men’s and women’s ice hockey season will be available to the general public beginning Wednesday, August 6 at the Campus Center Ice Arena box office. Remaining seats not claimed by regular season ticket holders will go on sale from August 6-15, and August 25-September 30.

Season tickets to see the Laker men in action are $101.00 for 14 home games, including the season-opening exhibition game versus the U.S. National Under-18 Developmental Team, which features some the nation’s top individuals aiming to become future Olympians and NHL stars. Other highlights on the home schedule include a Saturday night meeting with NCAA Division III semifinalist Elmira College on November 1, the third annual /Pathfinder Bank//Oswego Classic on January 2-3, which will include Augsburg College (MN), Babson College (MA), and Skidmore College, and the yearly “Whiteout” game with defending SUNYAC champion and NCAA Division III runner-up Plattsburgh State on Friday, February 20.

Season tickets to watch the Laker women’s team are $91.00, which covers 13 regular season contest, the “Green/Gold” scrimmage on Saturday, October 18, and an exhibition game with the Nepean Wildcats on Saturday, October 25. Among the season highlights for head coach Diane Dillon’s squad are Friday/Saturday weekend series with ECAC West regular-season runner-up Rochester Institute of Technology (Dec. 5-6), NCAA Division I Sacred Heart University (Jan. 16-17), and NCAA Division III third-place finisher Elmira College (Feb. 13-14).

Individual tickets for men’s and women’s games are $8.00 ($10 for game with U.S. National Team) and will go on sale starting October 8.

The Campus Center box office is open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. through August 14. Once the fall semester begins on August 27, the box office will be open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. For more information call 315-312-3073.
