Oswego State Men’s Hockey To Face Bowdoin In Quarterfinal Round of NCAA Tournament

OSWEGO, N.Y. – The Oswego State men’s ice hockey team will face Bowdoin in the quarterfinal round of the NCAA Division III Men’s Hockey Tournament on Saturday, March 13 in Oswego at 7 p.m. The Lakers, who are 25-2-0, earned an automatic bid into the tournament by defeating Plattsburgh 6-3 in the SUNYAC Championship on Saturday. Bowdoin, which is 19-6-1, received one of the three at-large bids.

The winner of Oswego State/Bowdoin will face the West Region representative (St. Norbert, Adrian, St. Thomas, or Gustavus Adolphus) on March 19 in the NCAA Division III Men’s Ice Hockey Championships at Lake Placid, N.Y.

Tickets will be available for SUNY Oswego students and current season ticket holders on Monday, Mar. 8 starting at 10 a.m. at the Campus Center Box Office. Current season ticket holders and students will receive ticket priority through the end of the day on Tuesday, Mar. 9, while tickets will be made available to the general public on Wednesday, Mar. 10.

Ticket prices are $8 for adults and $3 for SUNY Oswego students with college ID. Students that purchase tickets in advance will be entered into a drawing for three pairs of all-session passes at the NCAA Division III Men’s Ice Hockey Championships in Lake Placid on March 19-20. Students must be present to win and have SUNY Oswego ID to claim the prize.
