Jeff Boeckl, Men’s Golf
Oswego State junior golf athlete Jeff Boeckl (Gaithersburg, Md./Quince Orchard) fired a score of 78 to finish sixth individually at the Elmira Fall Invitational on Sunday. Boeckl led the Lakers to a fourth-place finish out of nine teams with a total score of 329.
Kelly Collins, Field Hockey
Oswego State sophomore field hockey forward Kelly Collins (Fairport, N.Y./Taft Prep) tallied two goals in the Lakers’ 3-0 victory over Brockport last week. Collins gave Oswego State the lead 3:15 into the contest for the eventual game-winner. Her second goal came at a pivotal point in the second half as Brockport threatened to score, putting the Lakers ahead 3-0.
