OSWEGO, N.Y. – The Oswego State women’s tennis team ran into a tough opponent Friday afternoon when it fell to perennial conference contender Geneseo by the score of 9-0 at Romney Tennis Courts. The Lakers’ best result came at No. 3 doubles as Hannah Rawlings(Fr., Ithaca, N.Y.) and Lauren Stall (Fr., Williamsville, N.Y.) lost to Shiho and Kaho Sato, 8-3. Oswego State, which dropped to 0-2 and 0-1 in SUNYAC West play, will look to get on track against Brockport next Saturday. Geneseo improved to 2-0 overall and 1-0 in conference play.
