Oswego squared off with the Rome JV girls’ soccer team, but lost 2-0.

Coach Megan Daley said, “We played hard, but couldn’t find the back of the net. We had a few scoring chances, but simply couldn’t capitalize. We dominated the second half, but Rome took advantage of two defensive mistakes int he first half to lead 2-0 at intermission.”

The coach said, “We need to improve on finishing our free kicks. Liz Michaud and Devyn Hutcheson have done a great job getting the ball in scoring position, but we haven’t been able to put the ball into the net.”

In a previous game Oswego lost to Baldwinsville 11-0. Daley noted, “B’ville is one of the best jayvee teams I have ever seen. Their individual skills were outstanding.” missing or outdated ad config
