Classic Week At Oswego Speedway Photos

OSWEGO – The following photos were taken by Jim Feeney during Oswego Speedway’s Classic Week this past weekend, September 3 through September 5.

In a close finish Jacob Gustafson was the New York State Compact winner at Oswego Speedway.
Jimmy Steffanhagen won the New York Super Stock Dave London Memorial at Oswego Speedway.

Top three in Oswego’s NEMA Lite Feature were second, Joe Baily, winner Jake Trainor and third place finisher Chase Locke.

The battle up front for most to the race was fought between Ron Silk 85 and Justin Bonsignore 51. Silk would win the battle and go on to win. Bonsignore was third at race end.

Top three in the NASCAR Mod Tour race, at Oswego Speedway were, third Justin Bonsignore, winner Ron Silk and second place Matt Hirschman.
Otto Sitterly 79 chased Dave Shullick Jr 95 for most of the 200 lap Classic. Sitterly was only able to follow and finished second. Shullick would cruise on to win his second Budweiser Classic.
Dave Shullick Jr 95 moves in to put Joey Payne Jr 14 a lap down. Shullick would stay out front most of the race, and win. Payne would have a good run and finish sixth.
Dan Connors Jr 01 tries to hold off Dave Danzer 52, as they fight for atop spot. Danzer would go on to finish third and Connors was ninth.
Micheal Barnes 68 races with Todd Stowell 89 for position. Barnes would move on up finish fourth. Stowell would get an eighth at feature end.
A battle for many laps for a podium spot was between Dave Danzer 52, Dan Connors Jr 01 and Tyler Thompson 98. Danzer would get the best of the battle and go on to finish third. Connors and Thompson slid back some, with Connors ninth and Thompson eleventh.

Top three in Oswego Speedway’s Supermodified Classic were, Otto Sitterly second, presenter McKenzie Coleman, winner of his second Classic Dave Shullick Jr and third place finisher Dave Danzer.

Super Pole Awards went to second fastest time Mike Bruce and fastest time Jeffery Battle.
SBS Pole Award, second fastest, went to Dan Kapuscinski.
SBS Pole Award winner for fast time was Mike Bond.
Supermodified Pole Award, second fastest wen to Otto Sitterly.
Supermodified Pole Award for fastest time was Dave Shullick Jr.

Mayhem during the 350 Super Feature at Oswego Speedway, involving Bobby Timmons III 13, Vern LaFave 97, Kyle Perry 20 and Mike Bruce 22. Thankfully no one was injured.

Chase Locke 88 and Brian Sobus 45 fight for a podium spot. Locke would get it with a third. Sobus was fourth.
Bobby Holmes 32 races Tyler Thompson 98 for a top spot. Holmes would go on to win. Thompson would end up twelfth.

Top three at Oswego Speedway’s 350 Super Classic posed with presenter McKenzie Coleman, third was Chase Locke, winner Bobby Holmes and second place Eddie Witkum Jr.
AJ Bernys 39 races Noah Ratcliff 73. Bernys would go on to a podium finish in third. Ratcliff was sixth.
Josh Sokolic 26 was chasing Mike Bond 74 for the top spot, as the pass Derrick Hilton 66. After the feature Bond was DQ’d giving the win to Sokolic.
Josh Sokolic 26 makes a pass on Robbie Bruce 32. Sokolic would be declared the winner after Mike bond was DQ’d. Bruce would end up twelfth.
