WEEDSPORT, NY – The Super DIRTcar Series Big Block Modified schedule was unveiled on Tuesday, with four stops scheduled at the flagship station of DIRTcar Modified racing, Weedsport Speedway.
The four race slate includes back-to-back events as part of the inaugural Cavalcade Weekend of Racing at The Port on September 11-12.
“The Super DIRTcar Series has put together an exciting schedule for 2021 and we are thrilled to hold four spots on the calendar,” said Weedsport Speedway Promoter, Jimmy Phelps. “We’re looking forward to adding a marquee weekend of racing in September to go along with our traditional events in May and July.”
The Super DIRTcar Series Heroes Remembered 100 will see a slight change this Memorial Day Weekend, moving from its usual Monday slot, to Sunday, May 30. The annual 100-lapper will pay $7,500 to the winner.
The summer’s feature attraction of Hall of Fame Weekend at Weedsport will be the $10,000 to win Super DIRTcar Series Hall of Fame 100 on Sunday, July 25. The series second stop to The Port will be at the midway portion of the overall tour schedule.
Cavalcade Weekend will welcome the Super DIRTcar Series back to Weedsport on September 11-12, for two complete shows featuring the best Big Block Modified racers in the region. Saturday night’s program will pay $7,500 to win, with Sunday’s finale handing out $10,000 to the driver standing on top of Victory Hill.
