Regular Season Finale Saturday At Fulton Speedway

FULTON, NY…This Saturday, September 5 at Fulton Speedway, will be the 2009 regular season finale with Track Champions crowned in all divisions. The DIRTcar Big Block Modifieds, DIRTcar Sportsman, DIRTcar Street Stocks, E&V Energy Novice Sportsman and the Gladiators will all look to finish out the point season in style on Town Mechanical Night. One on One Spectator Races will also be contested. The great evening of family entertainment will start at 7 p.m.

Billy Decker is coming off a well earned 35-lap DIRTcar Big Block Modified feature race victory in the last event contested two weeks ago. The veteran had to catch and pass youngster Michael Storms with-out the help of a caution period from his 18th starting position. New Jersey native, Storms, had to settle for third at the finish, behind Pat Ward, who also covered a lot of ground in the late going of the DIRTcar Big Block Modified battle Where Today’s Legends Race Today. Decker has already clinched the 2009 DIRTcar Big Block Modified Track Championship at Fulton behind four feature race victories.

Alan Johnson, Ryan Phelps, Jimmy Phelps, Jim Witko, Larry Wight, Dale Planck, Mike Mahaney, Tom Sears, Chuck Bower, Pat O’Brien, Tim Sears, Eric Fisher, Mike Bowman, Sean Beardsley, Vinnie Vitale, Chad Phelps, Billy Dunn, Matt Fink and Roy Bresnahan are more of the top DIRTcar Big Block Modified drivers expected to be in competition on Novelis Can Collection Night. Fulton Speedway is the home of the strongest field of DIRTcar Big Block Modified competitors in the northeast, Where Today’s Legends Race Today.

Teenager Tim Sears Jr. has to just start the main event this Saturday night to earn the 2009 DIRTcar Sportsman track title at Fulton Speedway. Dan Hoffman Sr. will be the 2009 DIRTcar Street Stock track titlist after a consistent season. Jon Shumway leads the way in the E&V Energy Novice Sportsman standings with Mark Johnston and Joe Kline still entertaining title hopes. Bruce Unger will be the 2009 Fulton Speedway Gladiator Track Champion.

Fulton Speedway gates will open at 5 p.m. this Saturday night. Race competition on Town Mechanical Night will start at 7 p.m. For more information please go on line to www.fultonspeedway.com. Admission for the Labor Day Weekend Saturday night show will be $12 for adults, with youth ages 10-14 admitted for only $5. Children nine years of age and under will be admitted for free.
