RJ Caruso Tax & Accounting to Post Bonus Cash in Memory of Danny Quonce

OSWEGO, NY – Oswego Speedway returns to racing on Saturday night presented by RJ Caruso Tax & Accounting, with a special cash bonus of $302 being posted in memory of former Speedway employee Danny Quonce.

Saturday, June 29, would have been Quonce’s 51st birthday, and in his honor former Speedway promoter and RJ Caruso Tax & Accounting founder, Romey Caruso, will add $151 to the winner’s share of both the Novelis Supermodified main event and Pathfinder Bank SBS main event on Saturday night in Quonce’s memory.

“I wanted to dedicate this night to Danny,” said Caruso.  “Danny Quonce was more than just an employee of Oswego Speedway; he was like an extended family member of the Caruso family.  Danny and I had a special relationship.  I relied on him whenever I needed his expertise and he knew he could rely on me unconditionally whenever he met some bumps in the road.”

Quonce worked as a chef at the old Wine Creek Inn before moving on to the head of maintenance at Oswego Speedway, as well as being a member of the Speedway’s heralded safety crew.

The Caruso family will never forget the contributions made by Quonce to Oswego Speedway, the old Speedway restaurant, and Wine Creek Inn.
