Rowe Chicken BBQ Fundraiser Set April 28 at Lighthouse Lanes

OSWEGO, NY – Pathfinder Bank SBS veteran and 2012 Bud Light Classic 75 champion Cameron Rowe will host his chicken BBQ fundraiser for the No. 77 Small Block Super team on April 28 at Lighthouse Lanes in Oswego.

Rowe’s fundraiser will run from 1 – 6 p.m. inside the Hall of Fame Lounge at Lighthouse Lanes and feature both chicken BBQ and pulled pork dinners on sale for a $10 donation to the race team.

Several raffles, door prizes, 50/50s, and more will also be available throughout the event including an autographed Kempton Dates ‘Red Creek Rocket’ cornhole board which was signed this past weekend by Dates himself.

Dates has 11 Supermodified wins to his credit and 54 top five finishes.

He is well known mostly for his furious charges and popular main event victories which came in the mid to late ’70s with the unmistakable red and gold No. 28.

Following a tenth place finish in the 2017 SBS ‘Road to the Championship’ which included two top fives and a podium effort, Rowe returns to the track in 2018 beginning with the speedway’s open practice session scheduled for May 19 before coming back a week later for Oswego’s 68th annual opening day featuring the 35-lap Tony White Memorial feature event for the Small Block Supers on May 26.
