In a great matchup between Step One Creative and Cortland, the Bucs used a balanced scoring attack and strong goaltending by Tyler Wallace to capture the 6-5 win at home. After falling behind 1-0 just seconds into the game, the Step One Peewees picked up goals from Tyler Eckert (2), Derek Morgia (2), Christian Talamo, and Nick Burnett to secure the victory. Spencer Stepien, Jack Rice and Morgia added the assists in the back and forth contest.

Oswego goalie Wallace held off Cortland late in the game to get the win. He had 22 saves in the contest.

The strong offense of the Step One Bucs was too much for the Watertown Rapids in this lopsided matchup at the Watertown Municipal Rink. Dylan Reitz, Eckert, Burnett and Morgia each had two goals for the Bucs, while Monica Cahill, Stepien, and Talamo added one apiece. Drake Morgia, Isaiah Raby, Morgia, Burnett and Stepien contributed the assists.

Wallace had five saves in the win.

“We just jumped on Watertown early in first period, and it was tough for them to get anything going after that,” said Morgia. “We pressured their zone the entire game, and made plays when we had to.”
