OSWEGO, N.Y. – Oswego State will host the sectional round of the NCAA Division III Men’s Basketball Championship on Friday and Saturday. Christopher Newport University, Keene State College and The College of Wooster will join the Lakers for a three-game weekend that will determine which squad garners a place in the coveted Final Four, to be held in Salem, Va. the next week.
It will start with the Captains of Christopher Newport against the Owls of Keene State at 5:30 p.m. on Friday in Laker Hall’s Max Ziel Gymnasium.
Oswego State will follow that game in a tilt with the Fighting Scots of Wooster, slated to begin at 7:30 p.m.
The winners of Friday’s contests will meet at 7 p.m. on Saturday with a quarterfinal spot on the line.
Tickets will be available starting at 10 a.m. on Tuesday and can be purchased either online (https://tickets.oswego.edu) or by calling the box office at (315) 312-3073.
Tickets will also be available on the day of the games, as the Laker Hall box office will open one hour prior to tipoff on Friday (4:30 p.m.) and one-and-a-half hours before Saturday’s tip (5:30 p.m.).
Prices for tickets are $10 for general admission; $5 for senior citizens, all students and children; while children under the age of two are free.
