Universal Metal Works and Rombough Electric Sponsor Tri-Oswego

Oswego, NY – Universal Metal Works, Rombough Electric and the Tri-Oswego Triathlon teamed up in 2012 to manufacture new bike racks for use with the event, according to Shane Broadwell, Tri-Oswego Race Director. Their multi-year sponsorship continues in 2013.

Universal Metal Works and Rombough Electric have been named sponsors of the Tri-Oswego Triathlon scheduled for this weekend in Oswego. Universal Metal Works is a metal fabrication company based in Fulton, New York, and Rombough Electric is an electrical contractor located in Oswego. Both companies service clients throughout Upstate and Central New York.

“We greatly appreciate the support we have received from Universal Metal Works and Rombough Electric,” said Broadwell. “The bike racks they provided us last year were outstanding, and will be very beneficial to our athletes once again this year and going forward.”

The USA Triathlon sanctioned event scheduled for this Saturday, June 15th, will include a Sprint, Intermediate, and Sprint Relay Tri race again this year. The Novelis Kid’s Fun Run, and the new Tri-Oswego Splash and Dash for children 11-15 years of age are also planned for June 15th.

All proceeds will benefit youth development programs throughout Oswego County through the Oswego County Sunset Group.
