Still Room For UPK Students In Oswego Schools

OSWEGO, NY – There are still universal pre-kindergarten openings for children in the Oswego City School District.

Currently, room is still available at the Frederick Leighton Elementary School, Kingsford Park Elementary School and Minetto Elementary School for children wishing to attend universal pre-kindergarten.

The program is designed for children who were born between Dec. 2, 2006 and Dec. 1, 2007 and is offered free of charge.

As in the past the program will run for 180 days in accordance with the Oswego City School District calendar.

There will be a maximum of 18 students in each class which will be taught by a certified teacher and a teaching assistant.

Applications are available at all Oswego City School District elementary schools, the Office of  Curriculum and Instruction on the first floor of the Education Center at 120 E. First St., or online at www.oswego.org

Any further questions can be addressed to Bonnie Perfetti at 341-2013.
