OSWEGO — SUNY Oswego will test the outdoor speaker portion of its emergency messaging systems Tuesday, Aug. 20.
The audio test may be audible beyond campus boundaries, according to Campus Technology Services staff.
Between 12:30 and 2 p.m. Tuesday, the college will send messages via the outdoor emergency broadcasting system.
The system consists of speakers mounted on five campus buildings. This public address system will broadcast spoken-word alerts in the event of a campus emergency.
