Photographer Rick Grosvent shares these pictures with us of an accident Wednesday along Route 481 in front of Empower Federal Credit Union.

A truck hauling trash tipped over and spilled the truck’s contents onto the grass  in front of the credit union’s entrance.  According to Rick, the driver said his truck’s load shifted as he rounded the curve and the shift toppled the truck.

The driver wasn’t badly hurt, but the accident made quite a mess and forced the southbound lanes of 481 to be shut off for several hours.

The truck was put back on its wheels and towed away at about 9:30 p.m.  The closed lanes reopened shortly after that.

You can find more photos of the accident on Rick’s Facebook page.

No, it’s a private hauler, though I can’t recall which one. The name wasn’t familiar to me.
