Tree Stewards To Meet Wednesday

OSWEGO, NY – The Oswego Tree Stewards will meet Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the third floor conference room of City Hall.

Michael DeMarco, an ISA Certified Arborist, will be there to talk a little about different types of good city trees and to answer any tree questions you may have about an urban canopy.

This education session is open to the public.

The Oswego Tree Stewards, a group of volunteers, provide critical tree care from the time a small tree is planted right on through its lifespan.

This includes removal of girdling roots, dead wood, suckers, crossing branches, parallel branches and co-dominant leaders.

We also get involved with some of the mulching and watering of city trees.

Many questions arise as we work with trees even among our most experienced stewards and we will get valuable advice during this meeting.

Join us for some of the most interesting tree talk ever!
