Jennifer C. Nagel, a senior Marketing major and economics minor at Oswego State University, has joined Chirello Advertising this spring as an intern, it was announced by Steve Chirello, agency owner.
“A native of Ransomville (near Niagara Falls), Jennifer will be working on market research for our clients in financial and retail arenas, copywriting, and assisting with public relations planning and implementation,” Chirello said. “We are delighted to have her spirit and enthusiasm for marketing here at Chirello Advertising.”
Nagel, a member of the SUNY Oswego Equestrian Team, has a background in graphic design and she has developed and maintained the team’s website for the past two years. She is responsible for continually updating the website’s information that includes the members’ roster, the coach’s information, images from competitions, and team competition results. In addition to the website, she is also responsible for ordering all of the team’s apparel.
Nagel has been on the equestrian team for the past three years. In 2009, she won the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association National High Point Rider—the first Oswego State equestrian to earn this award.
In 2010, Nagel competed for Oswego at the Lexington, KY nationals where she was named the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association All Around Rider. This title was special to Nagel to win the award she had to compete in both “English” and “Western” riding disciplines.
