Final Call for Kids to Enter Fair Housing Coloring Contest!

LIBERTY, JUSTICE AND FAIR HOUSING FOR ALL! – Oswego County residents aged 4 to 12 are invited to enter Oswego County’s annual Fair Housing Coloring Contest celebrating April as Fair Housing Month. OSWEGO COUNTY – The Oswego County Department of Community Development, Tourism and Planning reminds children to submit their entries to the Fair Housing Coloring Contest by Thursday, April 30. The contest is open to youth aged 4 to 12.

 

The contest is part of Oswego County’s celebration of April as Fair Housing Month. The theme of this year’s contest is “Liberty, Justice and Fair Housing for All – Celebrating America’s 250th!”

Prizes will be awarded in two separate groups: ages 4 to 7 and ages 8 to 12.

Physical copies are also available in the lobby of the following locations:

  • Oswego County Legislative Office Building, 46 E. Bridge St., Oswego

Winners of the contest are awarded prizes and be part of a group photo submitted to the local newspaper. Their work will also be displayed at the Oswego County Fair in July.

Prizes are provided thanks to the following sponsors: The Children’s Museum of Oswego, Splash Indoor Waterpark, Fulton Savings Bank, Lighthouse Lanes, AmeriCU Credit Union and Pathfinder Bank.

Completed entries can be submitted in-person or by mail to the Oswego County Department of Community Development, Tourism and Planning, 46 E. Bridge St., Oswego, NY 13126.
