Healing Prayer Service Oct. 26 in Fulton

The public is invited to attend a “Health and Healing Prayer Service” Monday, Oct. 26, at 7 pm at Believers’ Chapel of Fulton. The church is located at 614 S. Fourth St. (Rt. 481) across from McDonald’s.

“This will be our third healing service of 2009,” said Chuck Copps, church elder and team facilitator. “Our church’s Healing Prayer Team members are helping organize the services, and they will be present to share their gifts in prayer with anyone seeking a touch from the Holy Spirit.”

The service is open to the public. “We encourage the community to attend and participate,” Copps said.

Believers’ Chapel of Fulton is a non-denominational church. “We believe that the gifts of the Holy Spirit – word of wisdom, word of knowledge, faith, gifts of healing, miracles, prophesy, distinguishing of spirits, tongues and interpretation of tongues – are for today and are in operation for the edification of the church,” stated Pastor Brian Goodfellow. “We have seen these gifts actively working within our church body, healing sickness, restoring relationships, correcting errors, demolishing strongholds, and setting people free from oppression, guilt, and shame.”

Anyone is welcome to come and receive prayer. Members of the Healing Prayer Team will be present to offer prayer to individuals, couples, families, or groups. There will also be quiet time for personal prayer and meditation.

“The service portion of the evening will last approximately 45 minutes, but we will stay as long as we are called upon to pray for those who seek healing: physical, emotional, financial, spiritual, and relational,” Mr. Copps said. “Our church has an access ramp, and we also have a wheelchair and a walker onsite.”
