Representatives from several of Oswego County Opportunities’ divisions will take part in the upcoming Human Services & Volunteer Fair at SUNY Oswego.

Hosted by SUNY Oswego’s Career Services and the Center for Service Learning and Community Service, the Human Services & Volunteer Fair will be held Wednesday, September 17th from 4 – 6pm, outside the SUNY Oswego Campus Center.  The event provides organizations with the chance to recruit SUNY students for career, volunteer and internship opportunities that they may have available.

“We are excited to have this unique opportunity to interact with the students and inform them about the many volunteer opportunities that we have available at OCO,” said Alissa Bush of OCO’s Youth Services Division.  “We are happy to be a part of this event and are looking forward to meeting the students and letting them know how their involvement with OCO can benefit them and the community they are living in.”

Bush added that representatives from OCO’s Services to Aid Families (SAF) and Senior Services divisions would be at the event to discuss volunteer and internship opportunities in their divisions.  Human Resources representatives from OCO will also be on hand to showcase the job openings in OCO and other volunteer opportunities in the Health, Mental Hygiene, Children’s and Transportation divisions.  For more information on the event you may contact Alissa Bush at 342-7532.
