HANNIBAL, NY – August 24, 2024, Robert Arthur Sanders, 82, of Hannibal, NY, passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2024, in Indianapolis, IN. Born on February 19, 1942, in Syracuse, NY to the late Ralph and Ruth (Smith) Sanders. Bob drove tractor trailer for the majority of his life which he enjoyed immensely. Most recently he worked for Hubler Chevrolet of Rushville, IN, where he retired.
He was predeceased by his siblings, William C. Sanders, Charles R. Sanders, and Donald R. Sanders.
Surviving are his children, Robert A. (Tina) Cain, LoriAnne (David) Ries, Bonnie L. (Joseph) Euson, Michael S. (Amy) Sanders, and Tracey E. (Andy) Dawson, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A calling hour will be held from 10-11 am on Monday, September 16th at Foster Funeral Home, 837 Cayuga Street, Hannibal with a service at 11 am. A graveside service will be following at 12:30 pm at Onondaga Valley Cemetery, 2500 Valley Dr. Syracuse.
