WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 AM THURSDAY.
For Oswego, Jefferson and Lewis counties
WHAT: Heavy snow.
Additional snow accumulations of 8 to 16 inches are expected in some areas.
WHERE: The Eastern Lake Ontario Region.
The greatest snowfall will be over the higher terrain of the Tug Hill and western Adirondacks.
WHEN: Until 8 a.m. Thursday, March 15.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS: Travel will become difficult, especially
at night when snow will more easily accumulate on untreated road surfaces.
Be prepared for significant reductions in visibility at times.
Widespread accumulating snow will create dangerous travel conditions.
