We would like to recognize and congratulate all of the participants who played a part in the Fulton high school winter sport events. This would include the administration, hard working and dedicated coaches, booster club members, community and school volunteers, family members and fans, cheerleaders, dance team and especially the athletes who make up the teams.
The lessons they learn about discipline, team work and sportsmanship will be carried with them the rest of their lives.
We would like to take this opportunity to recognize the boys and girls bowling teams, coached by Mike Tryniski who comes from a bowling family, for their continued successes over the years. This year both teams finished first in their league. The boys finished the season with a 13/1 record and won 50 out of a possible 56 points and went on to finish 3rd in section III. The lady raiders finished the season with a 14/0 record, were undefeated with 56 out of 56 points for the first time in the program‘s history. They went on to finish 1st in Section III.
These bowlers play their sport with little fanfare; no cheerleaders, no dance team, minimum spectators. They are relatively unknown except for their family and friends. We’d like to recognize each one of them beginning with the boys bowling team consisting of Kyle Benson, Nick Walberger, Bryce Guernsey, Shawn Walberger, Ryan Kelly, Dan Wahl, Dan Henkle and Kyle Martin and the girl’s team consisting of Kylie Clifford, Amanda Deavers, Kendra Tryniski, Mikayla Guernsey, Katelyn Ely and Danielle Rupert.
Congratulations to all the athletes for their commitment to their sport.
