To The Editor:
My name is Jacob Greene, I am 12 and I attend Fulton Junior High.
As a Reality Check member, I will be educating my peers about World No Tobacco Day.
World No Tobacco Day is a global effort to reduce the negative impact of tobacco in our communities. For just one day, I would like to ask members of my community to quit smoking.
The negative effects of tobacco use are apparent in our community, from medical concerns, to tobacco litter among our playgrounds.
I would also like to remind the members of my community that smokers are not only affecting their own personal health as a smoker: 41,000 people will die this year due to secondhand smoke.
