Brennan Beach Celebrates More Than 2,700 Years of Marriage With 120 Couples Renewing Vows, Saying ‘I do’

PULASKI, NY – Brennan Beach RV Resort  hosted 120 couples, some renewing vows and some saying them for the first time, at the Brennan Big Beach Wedding on Sunday (Sept. 6).

The couples gathered at sunset on Brennan Beach for a ceremony officiated by Mary Welch-Burgess with music by local guitarist and vocalist Don Sawyer, to celebrate more than 2,700 years of combined love and marriage.

One couple said their vows for the first time, while the remaining couples ranged from newlyweds celebrating one year of marriage to lifelong soulmates celebrating 62 years together.

The event coincided with the 50th anniversary of the resort.

Following the ceremony, couples and their guests made their way to the pavilion where local band The Billionaires kicked off a night of dancing, dining and celebration.

Tops Friendly Market provide a tiered wedding cake, as well as individual cupcakes for each of the couples.

Brennan Beach RV Resort provided champagne for the celebration as well as trolley services between the beach and the pavilion.
