You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown Performance Date Changes Announced

FULTON, NY – CNY Arts Center announces a change in performance dates for the final weekend of You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown. The closing matinee on June 15 has been cancelled.

Charlie Brown, played by Adam Schmidtman, enjoys his friends telling him what a good man he is in this opening scene from You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown.

A performance has been added June 14 at 8 p.m.

This will allow two performances on the 14th, at 3 and 8 p.m.

There will be no matinee on June 15.

“This production is colorful and delightful and very funny,” said Nancy Fox, producer. “Charles Schultz, the creator of the Peanuts comic strip, left a legacy of humor as seen from the eyes of very small children and the laughter is contagious. We know it’s a busy time in the area with dance recitals, Father’s Day and end of the school year. But it’s also a perfect time to slow down for a couple hours and look at life from the perspective of a 5-year-old.”

Snoopy’s dog house, built by Shuba 2 Construction, will be awarded to a lucky winner on closing night along with a Charlie Brown theme blanket donated in recognition of Project Linus.

Anyone bringing a new handmade blanket to a performance will also receive a ticket discount.
