Not-for- profit organizations have until Nov. 6 to apply for youth development program grants through the Oswego City-County Youth Bureau and the New York State Office of Children and Family Services.
The Youth Bureau anticipates that limited state grant funding will be available for youth development programs in 2016.
“These state grant funds are allocated annually by the Youth Bureau board of directors to not-for-profit agencies,” said Youth Bureau Director Brian Chetney. “These funds are intended to provide positive youth development programs for youth from across Oswego County. The Youth Bureau board of directors will carefully consider each proposal to ensure a large cross-section of youth is served from different age groups and geographic areas in Oswego County.”
New applicants must call the youth bureau at 349-3451 or 1-800-596-3200, ext. 3451 and request an application package.
New applicants are also encouraged to schedule an appointment with youth bureau staff prior to completing an application, in order to review the application requirements.
For further information, those interested can contact Chetney at [email protected] or call the Youth Bureau at 349-3451 or 1-800-596-3200, ext. 3451.
