Oswego Man Stabbed In Neck During Fight

OSWEGO, NY – On October 31, at approximately 9:38 p.m., the Oswego City Police
Department responded to a fight complaint at the intersection of Syracuse Avenue and
McDougall Street.

Upon arrival it was found Keenen A. Davis, 21, of 178 E. Fifth St., Oswego, and William D. Cook, 21, of 239 Syracuse Ave., Oswego, were involved.

It is alleged that Cook struck Davis with a metal broom and Davis retaliated by stabbing Cook in the neck with a knife.

Cook was treated on scene by EMS for non-life threatening injuries.

Cook and Davis were subsequently arrested for fourth-degree criminal possession of a
weapon (class A misdemeanor).

Both are currently being held at Oswego PD pending arraignment.
